JGFJ Missions:  Support the future against domestic violence

It's my Story.

Hope is such an Important Light
Joshua Generation for Jesus begins a new journey in supporting those who are following God's calling despite their physical and/or emotional obstacles.  By supporting these individuals in achieving God's Will, we are able to open the door to a shower of blessings!  Not just for that individual, but to those future people who will be rewarded through that one individual's mission to bring God's Word into completion.
Rhonda Bennett is our volunteer web designer of JGFJ's website and has done so for about four years now.  She is from Thoreau, NM and is Navajo with a 6 year old daughter.  Living with a traumatic brain injury that she received in 2006 from a car accident with her then-abusive husband has truly changed her life in the way she thinks, feels, talks, learns and interacts with people.  The last 6 years for her has been challenging emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Struggling with daily head pains, headaches, jaw pain, loss of hearing on the right side and right face paralysis, Rhonda has re-learned how to live again and God is training her to lead other victims into His fold.  Her mission is to become a certified Christian counselor who will help those Native American women and teenagers who are traumatized by domestic violence.  Victims suffer MORE than physical pains.  It has to be taken seriously.  I think we all know how common domestic violence is on the reservations. By using both modern counseling practice and the Word of God, victims will be able to experience real healing in every part of their body and spirit.

Rhonda is attending Liberty University in Virginia on-line and is working on her Master's degree in Christian Professional Counseling, which she hopes to complete by 2014.

February 6th-10th, 2012 she will be leaving to attend a mandatory, week long Intensive counseling class in Lynchburg, VIrginia. Due to the brain injury and Post-Traumatic Stress from the car accident, Rhonda has a volunteer caretaker (Cindy Sandoval) who will travel with her, making sure she cared for and doesn't get lost!  However, Rhonda is responsible for paying for airline tickets, hotel stay, transportation and food for both her and Cindy for that week long intensive course.

Please donate to Rhonda's mission trip to Lynchburg where she will be learning how to conduct counseling sessions and techniques one-on-one with real individuals.  It is NOT a vacation trip.
Your prayers are also desired!
                 Thank you very much!
I pray that God may move you in helping me begin a mission to become a Christian counselor for Native American women and teenagers who have been victims of domestic violence.

PLEASE read my personal story of domestic violence and how God intervened in mylife, literally saving me!  God knows how I needed him and He heard my cries.
I hope this dramatic story of mine will encourage you or someone else you may know, to believe that God can do anything!  Domestic violence is a crime and should be treated as one.
I hope you will be encouraged to help me in completing this mission!
