2007
Performed April 9-11, 2009
JGFJ, Gallup, NM

If you haven't seen this performance before, here is your chance to see this awesome, powerful performance right before your eyes!

Boy, the performance this past Easter was AWESOME, as always!
It was about 2 hours long, but the time is hardly noticed as you hear singing and watch the performance on stage.  There was also a surprise guest-- "Jellybean" the donkey carried Jesus the Messiah into the auditorium while children of all ages waved palm leaves and sang wonderfully to proclaim Jesus as Messiah.  My daughter was very happy to see "Jellybean" make an appearance that night.
The show was very powerful in message and mixed with scenes from "The Passion of Christ"  made every person feel the presence of God--it was moving.

Never underestimate the power of Drama.  The JGFJ drama team performs from the heart of Christ.  Every prop, costume, the makeup effects and the lighting are not casually put together.  Every detail is prayed over, anointed and has to pass approval from God, which we know can demand plenty of patience, humbleness and spiritual clarity.  But JGFJ desires nothing but the best.
Dozens of skits have been performed over the years--some performances are only performed ONE TIME.  Often, many last minute changes are done during a performance!
"We do bible study and prayer over each skit.  It is not just entertainment.  It is spiritual warfare." Pastor Pee-Wee Gallegos describes.  "We take great integrity in what we do.  We do it to illustrate to the people these (spiritual issues)."
Getting the audience to retain bibilical issues and scripture is the biggest goal of the drama team.  The retaining process of a human person is described by Pastor Pee-Wee as being 10% what a person reads, 20% of what they hear, 30% of what the person sees and 70% of what a person watches and hears in a preaching format.  So, overall, it is hoped that the person attending the drama performance will leave with at least 90% of the material presented in memory.

Pastors Dennis and Corrine Gallegos have always strived to create the best and vivid picture to portray to the public concerning the Word of God.  They have never limited us when God gives to one of us the vision.
Age is not a factor, Baby boys and Baby girls are even used for the Glory of God.  Baby Jesus has to be portrayed by someone too.  The children have always had a part in this ministry, many parents and friends have come to Jesus through them.
I’ve heard it said, when a new individual comes to Joshua, “I wonder what their gift is?”  “Do they act?”  “Do they sing?” “Do they play an instrument?”  And every time we are surprised by the talent God has sent to us here.
Right now we have trained up a powerful team using our teenagers; they have learned and grown so much these past years. Their devotion is seen in every element of the performance.
The spiritual power of the performance is extraordinary.  Many have witnessed onlookers crying with arms outstretched, praying and reaching out for deliverance.      Especially the Easter Performance which brings many to Christ.  Please see below the pictures of the Easter Performance, as well as a commentary.
This year hopes to bring many skits.  Because of the renovation of the JGFJ church recently, there were not much productions done.  But God has not stopped using JGFJ yet!  Keep looking at JGFJ's schedule for upcoming events.  A performance of "Beautiful" will hopefully be performed during the Summit Trading Post Family Camp the end of June.  For more information, call JGFJ.
